The Ranger Teens go on a picnic in the park. Lord Zedd turns a cicada into the Guitardo monster, who steals Kimberly's acoustic guitar. With it, he's able to put the Power Rangers under a trance via an evil song spell. Kim and a nearly powerless Tommy are the only ones left to stop the music.

- Comically Missing the Point: Bulk and Skull disguise themselves as a monster and a damsel-in-distress to lure the Power Rangers. The Teens warn them not to "cry wolf".Bulk: Yeah, nice try. Now beat it!
Skull: Yeah, hit the road, toads!
[The Teens leave in disgust]
Skull: Can you believe those dweebs? They think there are wolves around here.
Bulk: I don't see any wolves!
[Bulk and Skull resume their trap] - Magic Music: Guitardo, but he's much more brutal than the Gnarly Gnome was.
