Megas XLRS 4 E 1 Megas Gear Solid

Go To

Coop & Jamie are watching television. There is nothing on that they want to watch. Jamie suggests taking Megas into space and smash something, but Coop mentions they are no longer allowed to use Megas for "Recreational Use" after an incident in which Coop, Jamie, and Kiva now have to perform community service for. As they go through the channels, Coop comes across a program that showcases an old robot built by Area 50: The Mecha Gear. Apparently it was a robot designed similarly to the RECR, but it was unstable and attacked anyone. It had to be sealed away on a hidden facility on Mars. Coop decides he wants to check it out.

Coop, Jamie, and Kiva head up to Mars to see if the story about the Mecha Gear is true. Kiva mentions that there was no military base discovered on Mars in the Future. Kiva also mentions it might not be a bad idea to have Coop train on Mars since he can't cause too much damage. Megas goes on a smashing rampage on Megas on Mars, blasting mountains and stuff until Megas crashes into a mountain and falls back. Kiva reveals that the mountain they crashed into is actually a highly dense iron dome, comprised of a highly dense alloy, designed specifically to prevent anyone from entering (or leaving, in the Mecha Gear's case). The gang manages to find a switch and opens the mountain up, revealing an abandoned military base.

After taking out the outer defense systems, Megas manages to find a way inside the base. They explore and look around. Jamie begins to have second thoughts about coming to Mars, but Coop tells him to relax. As Megas passes a room, the sensors on the Mecha Gear pick up Megas. The Mecha Gear then awakens and begins patrolling the base.

Coop reveals a new modification to Megas, a wire that allows it to hack into technology and control it directly from Megas. Kiva has Coop use this to hack into the security system and see what happens. They discover that the Mecha Gear went on a rampage throughout the base. Meanwhile, A defense turret locks onto the Mecha Gear and attacks it. The Mecha Gear destroys it, getting the attention of the Megas gang.

Megas and the Mecha Gear find each other. The Mecha Gear goes on the attack and fights Megas throughout the entire base. It has a powerful arsenal at its disposal including high-percision homing missiles, which relentlessly follow Megas. Kiva has Coop hack into the door to have it shut just as the missiles approach.

Kiva then tells Coop that they should have never come to Mars, and that they need to either destroy the Mecha Gear or seal it away again. The Mecha Gear uses a special optic system which allows it to see through walls. It finds Megas. Megas and the Mecha Gear do battle again. Eventually, they make their way outside of the facility and fight on the surface of Mars.

Megas suffers from heavy damage, and is about to be destroyed, when the Mecha Gear looks up at Earth. It detects the Earth as a threat and goes after it. Megas goes after the Mecha Gear. However, the Mecha Gear only sees Megas as an annoyance and begins to ignore it. Seeing this as an insult, Coop goes beserk on the Mecha Gear, but it still has the upper hand. Coop then decides that he is going to allow the Mecha Gear to go to Earth and he will help it get their with Megas.

Megas grabs the Mecha Gear and speeds up to Earth. This causes the Mecha Gear's armoring to burn up and melt. The Mecha Gear crashes onto Earth, its body being destroyed upon impact. Kiva then says they need to get rid of it. Back on Mars, it shows Megas leaving the base, followed by a huge explosion. Jamie comments that this is two bases of Area 50's that Coop destroyed. Before they can go home, Coop gets a reminder about his community service. They then go to an alien planet to perform their last day of community service, until Coop screws up again, making them start from scratch
