• Forbidden Fruit: The TV in the living room is Psycho Dad's. According to Jeffrey, "nobody's allowed to touch this tv".
• I Warned You: When Psycho Dad catches Jesse playing Skyrim on the living room TV.
  Psycho Dad: I told you last time what would happen!
• Implausible Deniability: Jeffrey telling Jesse that he's not doing anything in the living room, despite blatantly having a camera.
• Kill It with Fire: Psycho Dad leaving Jesse's Xbox in the fireplace to try to burn it.
• MacGuffin: The tv in the living room.
• Mr. Exposition: Jeffrey opens the video by explaining that Jesse is playing Xbox on their dad's forbidden tv, and that their dad will be home soon.
• Oh, Crap!: When Jesse realizes his dad has arrived.
• Turn Off the Camera: Jesse freaks out when he notices Jeffrey filming him mourn over the broken Xbox.
  Jesse: [charges toward Jeffrey] Fuck you! Fuck you! Stop filming—get that fucking camera outta here!
