Bo's mother, Aoife, has revealed herself and is intent on taking down both the Dark and Light Fae and ruling on the ashes. She wants Bo to rule by her side.
- A God Am I: Bo accuses Aoife of wanting this.
- Cliffhanger: The leadership of the Light Fae have been wounded, Trick has written something in his blood. Dyson has lost his love of Bo and will "never feel passion for her again". And Bo's crazy mother has vanished, carried off by an unknown someone.
- Defector from Decadence: Bo isn't exactly tempted by her mother's garden of himbos (male bimbos), but she doesn't mind enjoying it.
- Kiss of Distraction: Bo kisses Kenzi, both to test that the anti-succubus talisman works, and to distract her while she handcuffs Kenzi to a pole, to stop her from trying to follow Bo to her final showdown with her mother.
- Made a Slave: Aoife's himbos fit a number of slavery tropes...
- Battle Thralls: She uses them to start a war, with everyone, and intends to win it.
- Go-Go Enslavement: They walk around shirtless in leather pants.
- Sex Slave: She's a succubus, this is how she enslaves them. So... inversion?
- Slave Mooks: However clever they are or aren't, Aoife's first use of them (besides mixing martinis and as decorations) is as a suicide bomb.
