- Knight of Cerebus: Tohka and Yoshino had only caused harm involuntarily through their spacequakes or in self-defense, making Shido Freak Out and suffer a brief Heroic BSoD when he sees how Ax-Crazy Kurumi is and feels demoralized about having to seal her.
- Long-Lost Relative: Mana claims to be Shido's biological younger sister (and Reine's DNA tests later confirm this), yet neither of them can actually remember much about their past.
