From Floors 2 to 6, Sora can choose to visit Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, Agrabah, Monstro, and Halloween Town in any order. This is assuming he's visiting them in the order he does in the first game.
Finding themselves inside Monstro, Sora, Donald, and Goofy note how odd this world is compared to the others. They are suddenly met by Pinocchio, who explains where they are. Jiminy is relieved to see Pinocchio again, having forgotten about their last meeting due to the power of Castle Oblivion. Pinocchio tells Jiminy that he hasn't lied at all since the last time he saw him, causing his nose to grow. When he asks the group how they made it into the whale's belly, they can't even explain it themselves. Pinocchio informs them that Gepetto is inside Monstro as well, and he proceeds to lead them to the whale's mouth.
In the mouth, they find the wreckage of a ship, where Gepetto is located. He explains that he ended up inside the whale while sailing to find Pinocchio. Despite being trapped, Gepetto is still glad he did it, since he was able to find his son after all. He says that nothing is more important than finding Pinocchio again, which Sora, who is still on the middle of a quest to find his friends, can relate to. In the middle of the conversation, they notice that Pinocchio is gone. Gepetto tells them that he's been running off frequently as of late, despite his warnings. At Jiminy's behest, they agree to find the boy.
The group soon finds Pinocchio. He tells them that he's looking for treasure, but his nose grows again, prompting Jiminy to demand the truth from him. After some encouragement from Goofy, Pinocchio confesses that he was really trying to find a way out of Monstro, blaming himself for Gepetto getting stuck there. He didn't want his father to worry, so that's why he lied. Donald convinces him to tell Gepetto the truth, confident that he'll approve of Pinocchio's actions. Before they can leave, though, the Parasite Cage Heartless drops down and traps Pinocchio inside. After Sora weakens it in battle, Pinocchio manages to escape by jumping up and down inside its stomach, creating such a racket that it opens its stomach-mouth before being destroyed. Pinocchio comes up with an idea: perhaps they can do the same thing to Monstro himself, allowing them to escape. At Jiminy's insistence, Pinocchio returns to Gepetto while the others head deeper into the whale.
After making it as deep into Monstro as they can go, some Heartless show up. Sora, Donald, and Goofy cause as much mayhem as they can during the fight, causing Monstro to sneeze. They end up back in Monstro's mouth, where they find that Pinocchio and Gepetto are gone. Jiminy wonders if Pinocchio doesn't need him as his conscience anymore, but Sora assures him that he'll want to reunite with the cricket one day. With that, they leave the whale's innards.
Finding themselves back in Castle Oblivion, Donald asks Sora if he remembers anything else about the mysterious blond girl. Goofy asks Sora to tell them about her and that it may help him jog his memory. Sora remembers that she was a quiet girl who spent most of her time drawing pictures, even at the beach. He recalls that she would draw pictures of them sometimes, and that he and Riku sometimes fought to decide who she would draw. He recalls the day she left the island, but he didn't understand why she had moved away. Jiminy points out that Sora has been remembering new things instead of just forgetting, leading them to realize that this must be what the hooded figure meant about having to lose in order to find. Still, Goofy finds himself wondering why only Sora is regaining some memories, whereas the rest of them haven't remembered a thing. Donald insists that they continue onward to figure out what their buried memories are.
Meanwhile, Larxene and Axel are observing Sora and friends, noting that everything is going according to plan. Since Axel was the last one to fight Sora, Larxene says that she wants to test him now. Axel gives her a card to give to Sora after the battle, reminding her not to hurt him too badly since he is necessary for their plan. It is revealed that Larxene is conspiring to take over the Organization, and Axel is supposedly helping her. Larxene tells him to keep quiet about the treason and vanishes, but afterwards, Axel says that she should have kept her mouth shut as well, implying he is actually a double agent. Back with Sora and friends, Sora is still upset over being unable to remember the girl's name. He hopes he can remember it soon...
