- Despite the confidence boost he gets from realizing his father isn't perfect, Bobby doesn't know anything about building boats and prioritizes making the boat look cool instead of making it seaworthy. The moment he takes it on the river, it starts sinking.
- The ending indicates that sailing the boat under the bridge where hundreds of bats live didn't really cure Hank's fear of them. In real life, dealing with a phobia is a little more complicated than simply facing it once.
