Sento: In order to take over the nation, the extraterrestrial entity Evolt has begun gathering 10 Lost Bottles, extracted from the Lost Smashes. But he’s finally defeated by Kiryuu Sento AKA Kamen Rider Build, with the help of his friends.
Ryuga: I’ve gotta be the MVP of the Evolt battle!
Kazumi: What the hell? We only won because my Rider Punch kept him in place. So obviously, ‘I’ am the MVP!
Gentoku: In that case, it’d be my longer reach that did the damage to Evolt first. Which makes me the M…
Sento: Who cares?! Come on, we just lost a Lost Bottle! Watch Episode 45 and repent!

The battle against Evolt may be won, but the war is still far from over. What will Shinobu plan to do with the Lost Bottle now that Evolt is defeated?

Episode Tropes:

  • Beyond the Impossible: Evolt by himself is a complete monster and nightmare to fight. His Black Hole form takes that up to eleven. Him activating Feverflow in tandem with absorbing the black panel with all 10 completed Lost Bottles? He’s so absolutely powerful that he dominates things like RabbitRabbit, Cross-Z Magma, and Rogue like they are actual babies and causes the surrounding buildings to collapse as a side-effect of attacking, and can without irony smash people around as if he was a Dragon Ball villain. It’s a good thing that the monster form can only exist so long as the black panel has 10 completed Lost Bottles or else Evolt would have become truly unstoppable.
  • Demonic Possession: As mentioned a few times on this page, Evolt uses Utsumi as a backup for when his main body was destroyed. Evolt possesses Kazumi more directly by firing his DNA at Kazumi in the first third of the episode, and left Kazumi’s body in a comatose state until he was able to snatch the CD Lost Bottle and then immediately retreat to the main body.
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: Shinobu is killed by Evolt and entrusts Sento/Takumi the duty of defeating Evolt as he fades away, leaving only his Build Driver behind as proof he existed.
  • Dying Clue: Before Shinobu dies, he tells Sento that there’s a white panel that Evolt is unaware of and to use the Hazard Trigger. Sento spends the remainder of this episode trying to make sense of the hint.
  • Foreshadowing: In the middle and end of the episode, the show references and name drops the movie’s new prime ministers that are recruited to help reorganize Japan following the Japanese Civil War. The next episode preview also hints that Kazumi will use Shinobu's Build Driver along with the Blizzard Knuckle to attain a new form.
  • Good All Along: Played With. Shinobu Katsuragi was fully committed into making Evolt believe that he was an ally, and firmly believed that Sento could find a solution in order to defeat Evolt without blowing his cover. Nevertheless, he was still committed to using the Black Panel in order to attain the power of other worlds in order to stop Evolt if it was necessary.
  • Hand Wave: How is Utsumi able to use an Evol Driver? His was "tuned for human use."
  • My Death Is Just the Beginning: Evolt planned with Shinobu to take a dive in order to complete a Lost Bottle and speed up their plans, with Evolt leaving behind some DNA on his Evol Driver to regenerate after Shinobu finds him a new host. If it weren’t for the fact that Evolt split off some of his DNA to find a host as insurance, Evolt and the show would be over before we get to the halfway point of the episode.
  • No One Should Survive That!: By all accounts, Evolt should have died there and then after receiving the Genius Finish after being paralyzed, but he was able to release his plasma from his physical body to cheat death by taking a host, in this case, using the nearby Utsumi as his container until he could reclaim his Evol Driver and Evol Trigger.
  • Oh, Crap!: Evolt develops a monster form, and it is every bit powerful as one can expect from Evolt being pushed to an even stronger form.
  • Our Wormholes Are Different: Once the black panel is completed with 10 Lost Bottles, it will enable warp travel via worm holes, allowing anyone to travel to anywhere in the universe.
  • Planet Eater: Evolt qualifies as this the moment he can use his Black Hole form, but he still burns a lot of energy going from planet to planet, often using the energy he obtained from one planet to move to the next. If he was ever able to complete the black panel that allows for intergalactic travel via worm holes, his power would grow even further and he would become actually impossible to stop.
  • Redemption Equals Death: The moment Evolt revealed that he survived was also the moment that Shinobu's luck ran out.
