Mr. Cat introduces the rest of the main four to a rather violent variant of hide and seek, where he clones them and then hunts them down with a bazooka inside a labyrinth.
"Let's Play Hide 'n Hunt" contains the following tropes:
- Bowdlerise: In the French dub, Stumpy tries to make Kaeloo angry by mooning her. In the English dub, it's changed to him farting at her.
- Comedic Spanking: The three clones of Bad Kaeloo do this to the three clones of Stumpy in the end.
- Clones Are Expendable: Mr. Cat clones his friends so he can kill them without permanently losing them.
- Shoot Everything That Moves: The basis of Mr. Cat's "Hide 'n Hunt" game is that he gives the others each two clones of themselves, he counts to a hundred as they try to hide in a labyrinth, and then he "shoots everything that moves".
- Skewed Priorities: Kaeloo is much more concerned with not letting Mr. Cat get what he wants, i.e. a transformation from her, than she is about saving Stumpy's life.
- Wham Line: When Mr. Cat teaches Kaeloo and Stumpy to play Hide 'n Hunt, he explains that they hide, he counts to 100, and then...Mr. Cat: You three hide and then... (pulls out bazooka) I bazooka all that moves.
