Go To

Booster Gold has gone missing, so Batman dispatches Green Arrow to find out why.

Tropes:

  • A Day in the Limelight: While Batman gets a few lines at the start of the episode, the episode is Green Arrow and Booster Gold's show.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Booster has a horrible attention span. He only watched 10 minutes of Jurassic Park, so he's Wrong Genre Savvy about how horrible the dinosaur park idea actually is. It's apparently common for people from his time.
  • Contrived Coincidence: Booster Gold has gone missing, but he just happens to be in the area that Green Arrow is already passing by.
  • Forgot to Feed the Monster: The reason the dinosaurs are so aggressive is because Booster Gold didn't think of feeding them.
  • For Want Of A Nail: Booster Gold bringing back the dinosaurs leads to an alternate future where dinosaurs evolve to become sentient and end up the dominate species.
  • Genre Savvy: Green Arrow knows that the dinosaur park idea is doomed to fail because he's seen Jurassic Park.
  • Gentle Giant Sauropod: Averted. The sauropods are just as aggressive as the other dinosaurs.
  • Raptor Attack: Green Arrow is attacked by a pack of Jurassic Park-like raptors after he arrives on the island. Apparently, they're so dangerous that Booster Gold decided to leave them out of the park. That said, a similar but smaller species is also present in the park.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: Green Arrow retains his memory of the episode's events after he and Booster end up time traveling to stop Booster from watching Jurassic Park.
  • Shout-Out: Booster Gold got the idea for his dinosaur park from watching Jurassic Park.
  • Super-Persistent Predator: All the dinos go to great lengths to catch the two heroes. Even though they're obviously hungry, they don't seem interested in hunting each others.
  • Take That!: Booster complains that it takes too long to say "Green Arrow" and suggests he shorten it. GA dismissively scoffs at just going by Arrow, until Booster suggests "Green".
  • The Time Traveler's Dilemma: Green Arrow questions whether it's really right to prevent the dinosaur future from coming to pass. Booster Gold just goes ahead and cuts the power before his earlier self can watch Jurassic Park.
  • What Could Possibly Go Wrong?: Booster Gold says this about his dinosaur park, a few seconds before all the dinos escape and run amok.
