- 10-Minute Retirement: Yogi quits being a doctor after he finds out he's 98% cat.
- 419 Scam: Yogi attempts to scam Winsome Witch out of her bank information by claiming to be a prince from a faraway land.
- Art Shift: When Yogi is explaining his bounce house scheme, the art becomes Stylistic Suck.
- Ass Kicking Pose: TC's gang gets into their fighting stances when they suspect that Yogi is an intruder.
- Bowdlerise: That line Boo Boo says under Comically Inept Healing? Originally, it was supposed to be "I killed a guy!"
- Brick Joke: At the beginning of the episode, Wally Gator is looking for his father. At the end of the episode, another DNA test supposedly proves that Yogi is Wally's father.
- Cats Hate Water: Invoked by J. Whimple Dimple, who sprays TC's gang to make them go away.
- Chekhov's Gag: Before getting back his DNA test results, Yogi is treating a patient who was injured in a bouncy house accident. An adult bouncy house is the final scheme that Yogi creates while teamed up with TC; when it goes awry and seriously injures everyone in town, Yogi realizes he has to come out of his 10-Minute Retirement to help them.
- Comical Coffee Cup: Boo-Boo claims that Yogi is the best doctor ever by showing him a mug that says World's Greatest Doctor...which Yogi promptly shatters.
- Comically Inept Healing: Boo-Boo, while a decent nurse, is nowhere near ready to be a Doctor himself.Boo Boo: I'm being sued for malpractice!
- Forced Transformation: For attempting to scam her, Winsome Witch turns Yogi into a toilet.
- Glad I Thought of It: When Yogi devises a scheme to steal money from people at a bounce-house party, Top Cat takes credit for the idea.
- Here We Go Again!: The plot of the episode comes about when Yogi gets a DNA test saying that he's 98% cat. At the end, Captain Caveman arrives to tell him that he gave Yogi the wrong results, and he's actually... 98% alligator.
- Historical Domain Character: Yogi wonders if he's related to Albeart Einstein or Bearbraham Lincoln.
- Luminescent Blush: Done by Yogi at the end of the episode after Top Cat compliments him.
- Off with His Head!: Fancy-Fancy is decapitated by the bounce house.
- Rule of Three: Yogi's unsuccessful attempts at scamming.
- First, he spills water onto the floor of a supermarket so he slips and hurts himself, getting a lot of insurance money in the process. He slides into a stand full of beehives and gets stung by several angry swarms.
- Next, he puts Atom Ant on his salad so that he would be entitled to a free meal. Maw Rugg dishes him with a knuckle sandwich.
- Finally, he approaches Winsome Witch pretending to be a prince from a faraway land and asks for her bank information. Winnie responds by turning him into a toilet.
- Scary Stinging Swarm: Yogi gets stung by a swarm of live bees at the store.
- Shout-Out:
- The episode starts with a video of Captain Caveman offering a hi-tech service while dressed in a black turtleneck and putting his hands together a lot.
- Yogi moves in with Top Cat and his gang after a DNA test says he is a cat, and, among other things, Yogi asks them if being a cat means eating lasagna and hating Mondays, which Top Cat brushes off as just cat stereotypes.
- Stating the Simple Solution: Cindy tries to explain to Yogi that being a cat doesn’t mean he has to give up being a doctor.
- Squashed Flat: Yakky Doodle, Chopper, and Mildew Wolf are all squashed flat by the bounce house.
- There Was a Door: Captain Caveman smashes through the wall of the operating room to deliver Yogi's DNA test results, then makes a second hole on his way out rather than exit through the original hole. Later, Yogi makes a third hole when he leaves.Cindy: Oh, great. Two giant holes in my sterile operating room. Cool, cool.
- 13 Is Unlucky: Just as Huckleberry Hound declares Jellystone the 13th safest city in the county, the bouncy house falls in the town hall and flattens everybody.
- Tiny Tim Template: Invoked by Top Cat's gang. When they scam J. Whimple Dimple out of a few bucks, they pretend to be sick, poor orphans.
- "YEAH!" Shot: Done by Wally and Yogi at the end of the episode.
Face of the Town!
- Animesque: Huckleberry Hound undergoes a Sailor Moon-esque magical girl transformation.
- Brutal Honesty: Lippy doesn't hold back in revealing to everyone that Jellystone's founder was a Compulsive Liar who made up tall tales about himself just to be popular. And on the town's anniversary of all times.
- The Cameo: During the brief racing sequence, Axel makes a cameo on Winsome Witch's car.note
- Catapult Nightmare: Huck jolts awake from his nightmare.
- Dirty Coward: Snagglepuss escapes a rocket ship that several of the citizens are trapped on with the only parachute, leaving them doomed.
- Easily Impressed: Huckleberry is amazed at everyone's talents, no matter how weak they are.
- Flat "What": Done by Yogi after Magical Girl!Huck saves the final contestants from the rocket.
- Foreign Cuss Word: Lippy calls Hubert Bartholomewbert a "putz", which is Yiddish for "penis".
- Gasp!: "Gasp! The mythical Jellystone! I guess it's real after all!"
- Girls with Moustaches: When portraying Hubert Bartholomewbert in the play, Augie wears a mustache.
- Hidden Depths:
- One of Huckleberry's attempts to chose the new face of Jellystone is a quiz. Squiddly Diddly scores over 6000 points.
- Wally Gator turns out to be a great artist.
- Jump Rope Blunders: Doggie Daddy attempts to jump rope with Augie, but he falls flat on his face because there's no one to hold the rope in the other end.
- Miles Gloriosus: Hubert Bartholomewbert made up tall tales about himself just to be popular.
- Nightmare Sequence: The stress of trying to pick someone to be the new face of Jellystone leads to Huckleberry having a bad dream wherein headless versions of Yogi, Jabberjaw, and Peter Potamus attack and decapitate him in a ruined version of town.Huck: Well, that there was a tad bit strange. (realizes his headless body is lying next to him) ...Oh, alright, I get the symbolism-slash-metaphor. AAAAAH!!
- Not-So-Final Confession: When Captain Caveman thinks he is going to die, he confesses that he never washed his hands after using the bathroom.
- Real After All: The story of the founding of Jellystone, involving founder Hubert Bartholomewbert using a magic "jelly stone" to make the ground fertile, is exposed as a lie. Later, when Huckleberry's plans go awry, the jelly stone appears and grants him superpowers to save the day.
- Scatterbrained Senior: Lippy the Lion didn't even know he was the oldest citizen of Jellystone.
- Significant Monogram: Hubert Bartholomewbert...Hanna-Barbera.
- Staring Contest: As part of the talent Montage, Mildew Wolf and Winsome Witch have a staring contest.
- Stating the Simple Solution: Huckleberry realizes that no one person can be the "face of the town", because everyone is, so...Huck creates a giant amalgamation of the entire populace using everyone's DNA, as you do. As the monster runs amok through town, Peter Potamus asks Huck why he didn't just take a group photo of everybody.Huck: Oh... I did not think of that.
- Transformation Sequence: The mythical Jellystone causes Huckleberry to go through a Magical Girl transformation that looks similar to Sailor Moon's Eternal form.
