Go To

Bello is taught by Ongo about appreciating the little things in life after the latter's foot gets smashed following the former messing with his "sound wheel" toy.

"Jammbo's Many Worlds" contains the following tropes:

  • An Aesop: Two of them.
    • Try new things.
    • Sometimes it's nice to slow to down and appreciate the little things in life.
  • Cock-a-Doodle Dawn: At the end of the episode, when Bello decides to stay with Ongo, it becomes dawn and the morning is heralded by a crowing rooster.
  • Delayed Reaction: It takes a couple of seconds or so for Ongo to react to his squished foot.
  • Hurt Foot Hop: Ongo hops on one foot after the sound wheel hits him.
  • Injured Limb Episode: For Ongo, who has to rest on his couch after his foot gets hurt.
  • Just a Flesh Wound: Ongo gets his foot completely rolled over, and this is treated as a minor injury. In real life, Ongo would have sustained ten fractures and serious damage to his skin and muscle tissues, along with possibly losing circulation in that area.
  • Space Whale Aesop: Don't take your friend's toy, or it will grow giant and run over their foot!
  • Suddenly Voiced: This is one of two episodes where Ongo speaks proper English; he's heard saying "Oh, no!" while playing with a toy rocket ship.
  • Wham Line: More of a Wham Scream. Most of the time, whenever a character gets injured in the show, they ignore it or laugh it off. Here, Ongo's shrieking is an indication that it's more serious this time.
