With Shendu dead, Valmont and his Enforcers lost the treasure they have stolen from him, but luckily they got the talismans. At the same time, Jackie is attempting to get on with his life now that the talisman hunt is over. Unbeknownst by all, however, Shendu, despite being reduced to a spirit, is planning on aiding a new force fill the void his destruction has left.
This episode provides examples of:
- Always Need What You Gave Up: Finn, feeling that the Healing talisman was redundant since he had Immortality, traded it to Ratso for the Heat Beam Eyes talisman. He later finds out that even though he can survive lethal injuries, they still hurt like the dickens.
- Big "NO!": Shendu, after having possessed Valmont instead of Jackie.
- Chekhov's Gag: Finn, having been stuck with the talismans that are useless in combat, (astral projection, spiritual balance, and animation) manages to trick Hak Foo into trading with him. We see the hilarious results in the next episode.
- Low Clearance: When Jade and Finn were having a midair fight above the Enforcer's van, Finn ends up hitting the top of a tunnel when the van goes through it.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain
- Screw the Money, I Have Rules!: Shendu just ordered the Dark Hand to leave the money behind as he sees this as no importance.
