When a Girly Ranger named Moofy gets her foot stuck in Zim's lawn and creates a media storm, Dib tries to take advantage of the situation to expose Zim once and for all. Unfortunately, Zim also plots to use the situation to his benefit.
Tropes
- Attention Whore: Moofy. As Dib notes, she's not even really upset at the situation, she just wants the attention.
- Brick Joke: Moofy gets stuck in Zim's lawn because he attacks her with a robot gopher. At the end of the episode, when Dib likewise gets stuck, Zim unleashes the gopher again to torment him.
- Butt-Monkey: Dib gets stuck in the lawn himself after Moofy is freed, but everyone ignores him and leaves.
- Call-Back: Nick from "Zim Eats Waffles" shows up among the things Zim and GIR are packing into the Voot.
- Cute, but Cacophonic: Moofy is very adorable and hilarious with the personality of Genki Girl, but her voice is awfully shrill whenever she loses it. It doesn’t help that she's emotionally unstable, this is due to her being a very spoiled young girl.
- Earth-Shattering Kaboom: Zim provides the human officials with a sonic vibration machine so that they can get Moofy free. Despite him specifically saying that this will shake the world apart, they still happily accept it.
- Girl Scouts Are Evil: The whole plot is kicked off by a Girly Ranger (who was previously shown attacking a man to make him buy some of her cookies) getting her foot stuck in Zim's lawn and refusing any efforts to get her free, because she wants to be on TV. Later on, other Girly Rangers force Dib to buy cookies from them to support Moofy, and attack him with ninja star cookies when he tries to pay with ham by accident.
- Manchild: President Man initially disregards Dib's more sensible plan for freeing Moofy because he doesn't have a presentation with "pretty pictures", and then changes his mind in exchange for some cookies.
- Mundane Made Awesome: The scene where Zim pulls Moofy free is done in slow-motion and with dramatic music playing.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: President Man is a clear parody of then-president George W. Bush.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Zim's alternate human disguise is a big puffy costume that displays his face, and he doesn't even wear contacts, yet as usual everyone falls for it.
- Serious Business: Moofy getting her foot stuck is not only a major media event, but even the President gets involved.
- Skyward Scream: When one of Zim's lawn gnomes falls over on her, Moofy screams enough that she's heard by the Tallest, who are in another galaxy at the time.
- Villain: Exit, Stage Left: After providing the humans with a machine that will shake the planet apart, Zim immediately starts to evacuate his base.
