Gaz wants to go to Bloaty's Pizza Hog for the family's annual night out, but her father won't go if Dib isn't joining them. Unfortunately for her, Dib's latest mission to infiltrate Zim's base has ended in his capture. It's up to her to begrudgingly get him back and save her dinner.

- Comically Missing the Point: Both Dib and Gaz get an opportunity to do this. In the same exchange, no less!Dib: Come on, Gaz! You'd sacrifice the Earth just for some pizza??
Gaz: Look, you got to pick where we ate last time and now it's my turn!
Dib: Why can't you just go tomorrow??
Gaz: (exasperated) You just don't get it, do you...? - Daddy's Girl: Downplayed. Gaz isn't especially devoted to her father but takes the fact that she can only hang out with him once a year very seriously.
- The Guards Must Be Crazy: GIR, as usual.Gaz: Where is Dib?
(GIR goes into duty mode)
GIR: NONE MAY PASS! YOU ARE AN INTRUDER!
Gaz: (more frustrated) Where is Dib!
(Beat. GIR does back to normal.)
GIR: He went down there. - Growling Gut: While at Zim's house, Gaz gets distracted by a commercial on TV for Bloaty's, only snapping back to reality and remembering why she's there when her stomach starts growling.
- I'll Never Tell You What I'm Telling You!: It doesn't take much to get Zim to tell Gaz where the escape pods are after he cuts the power to the transporters, if only because he's too stupid and egotistical to realize it.Zim: Your pitiful attempt at rescue has been nothing but a pitiful failure! Stupid, stinking humans!
Gaz: Doesn't this thing have escape pods??
Zim: (nonchalantly) Of course, they're over there. (Back to gloating) Stupid, stu-
(Notices Dib and Gaz escaping) - Meaningful Echo: When Gaz dismisses Dib's devotion to exposing Zim, Dib replies, exasperated, "You just don't get it, do you?" Later, when Dib tells her that going to get pizza isn't worth letting Zim go free, she replies, exasperated, "You just don't get it, do you?"
- Pragmatic Villainy: Gaz initially considers letting Zim do one experiment on Dib before rescuing him, but changes her mind when she realizes that her father would still cancel Family Night if Dib came home inside-out.
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: Gaz does this after she talks to her dad and when she is in Zim's base.
- Skewed Priorities: Gaz would thwart Dib's plan to stop Zim from taking over the Earth once and for all for pizza. Downplayed in that she doesn't consider Zim a threat.
- Suck E. Cheese's: Bloaty's Pizza Hog, complete with gross-looking pizza and horrifying animatronics.
- Trampoline Tummy: The man who plays Bloaty is so fat he practically bursts out of his costume when he unzips it. His flab bounces the escape pod Gaz and Dib used from space into a wall and he barely notices.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Gaz is rather unimpressed by the view of the Earth she sees from within Zim's satellite base. Cause she cares more about the pizza she could be eating if Dib didn't go for another mission.
- When You Coming Home, Dad?: Prof. Membrane is such a workaholic that he can only afford to spend one night a year with his children.
