- Either/Or Prophecy: The trio do tea-leaf readings to predict what is to come. For Chloe, who receives a cross, they all debate on what it could mean:Lexi: A cross as in 'crossroads'?

Chloe: A cross as in sacrifice? - Hypocrite: During her email to Parker, Chloe expressed her fury at the way everyone back home had treated her. Specifically, she states that “They all need to learn that I’m a person, not a prop.” Immediately afterwards, she tells Parker to let everyone know that if her family wants her back, they have to make sure that everyone who hurt Chloe works to show their repentance. “Everyone” meaning her classmates, her teachers, Professor Cerise and his “stooges...” All in all, her “request” does not take into account that these are several dozen people who are all ultimately responsible for their own actions, and sounds more like instructions for arranging “props” for Chloe of the Vermillion’s glorious return.
- Rousing Speech: Chloe begins to send a message to the entire Train to stand up against the Apex and to also let Amelia be as she's atoning for her crimes.
- Tempting Fate: Chloe talks about some of the difficulties she expects to face when going back to Vermillion City; "Interviews, people posting flowers and gifts welcoming me back, my school treating me like I'm royalty... it's nice, but it can be so overwhelming. And I know people are going to be asking me to forgive them, and I don't want to." Lexi and Atticus make sure to reassure her, and so she sends an email to Parker to ensure that everything will be perfect once she returns. Unbeknownst to her, this email will influence Parker to take drastic actions that ensure that her reception back home will not match her expectations.
