Recap / I Zombie S 2 E 3 Real Dead Housewife Of Seattle

Go To

Liv eats the brains of a trophy wife who was pushed to her death from her home's balcony by a hired hit man; Liv and Ravi discover Peyton is back in Seattle.

  • Call-Back:
    • Ravi's new girlfriend Stephanie is someone he met at the club in the last episode.
    • Floyd Baracus, also from the previous episode, declares war on Mr. Boss in a press conference.
  • Chair Reveal: Vaughn walks in on Gilda sitting in his chair.
  • Death by Falling Over: How the Victim of the Week is killed.

  • Eye Scream: Bethany tries macing Liv. It doesn't work and that gets her a beatdown from Liv in Full On Zombie Mode.
  • The Fashionista: What Liv turns into in this episode.
  • Gender-Blender Name: Alex Towne, realtor. She's a woman; the hired killer who uses her business card to get into the house is a man.
  • Gory Discretion Shot: Terrence Fowler is eaten by Dr. Howland, who's been zombified and made feral from lack of brains like Marcy.
  • Gratuitous German: Ravi says some when determining where the victim's breast implant came from.
  • Hypocritical Humor:
Taylor: I threw my drink in her face and I walked out. I mean, I love that woman, but she is just too much drama.
  • Just Following Orders: How Major justifies working for Vaughn as a personal trainer.
  • I Have Many Names: Turns out Bethany has other names to hide from Fraud, Larceny and Blackmail charges.

  • I Need a Freaking Drink: Liv could use some pinot and salty chocolate.
  • Internal Reveal:
    • Peyton finds out that Ravi was in on the zombie secret.
    • Liv finds out that Major is working for Max Rager (though she notably does not find out what he's doing for them).
  • Justice by Other Legal Means: Clive admits that they don't have enough evidence to convict Bethany of Taylor's murder, but says that he'll probably be able to find it while she's serving time for all the other crimes she's wanted for.
  • Literal Metaphor: Vaughn tells Terence he's going to lose his head once he sees what they've been doing in the basement. Since what they've been doing in the basement is making feral zombies, Vaughn's not wrong.
  • Not So Different: Turns out both husband and wife were cheating on each other, though the husband was more pissed about it being Vaughn.

  • Oh, Crap!: Liv and Ravi find out that Peyton is back in Seattle as the head of the Utopium Task Force.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Trophy Wife: The victim of the week.
  • Unstoppable Rage: Terrence Fowler, the victim's husband, has this reaction after learning of his wife cheating on him with Vaughn by putting his fist through a glass table. In fact, he punched a hole in a wall after hearing of his wife sleeping around with Vaughn.
