Ravi and Major find a dead body while searching for the tainted Utopium. Only after Liv has eaten his brain do they find out he was a pathological liar nicknamed "Big Fish."

  • And I Must Scream: Blaine threatens to have Major made into a zombie and buried undead, permanently unable to die and consumed by Horror Hunger.
  • Babysitter from Hell: Frieda Bader, Blaine's old nanny, cheerfully admits to killing his pet dog because Blaine was caught shoplifting.

  • Buried Alive: Blaine threatens to have Major turned into a zombie and then buried undead.
  • Do with Him as You Will: Angus taunts Blaine, telling him that he doesn't have the stomach to torture his own father. Blaine turns Angus over to Chief and Candy, who Angus had previously shot and tortured respectively.
  • Faked Rip Van Winkle: Blaine briefly tries to pull this on his father, before admitting the truth.
  • Freudian Excuse: Blaine accuses his father and nanny of abusing him as a child. The nanny claims she was even worse than Blaine remembers.
  • I Have Your Dad: Major has Blaine's father captive and trades him for his own freedom and Blaine's silence about the Chaos Killer.
  • Internal Reveal: Blaine finds out that Major is the Chaos Killer. Liv finds out that Drake works for Blaine.
  • Interscene Diegetic: Blaine's record playing "One More Day" also acts as the soundtrack for Liv, Major, and Ravi finally finding the bodies they're looking for.

  • Lame Pun Reaction: Chief, despite his love of That's What She Said, doesn't care for Blaine's "All right, who's gonna make the obligatory popsicle joke? ... What? When did this place get so highbrow?"
  • Not Me This Time: Several people have a hard time believing that Blaine didn't kill his father.
  • Passed-Over Inheritance: In the event that Blaine's father is murdered, Blaine inherits nothing.
  • Soundtrack Dissonance: Blaine puts on a record of "One More Day" from Les Misérables to cover the sound of his father being tortured.
  • That's What She Said: Blaine's Mook Chief apparently enjoys making this kind of joke. For context, Blaine is negotiating with Major over burying Major alive.
    Don E: I sure don't want my hole to go to waste.
    Chief: (takes out his phone and starts texting)
    Blaine: Yeah, Chief,"That's what she said." Don't bother.

  • Wham Episode: Ravi's lab rat New Hope dies of unknown causes. Major and Blaine, who have received similar treatments, might be next.
