When the gang goes on a camping trip, the Stiltons are so lazy they forget to buy proper equipment and forget to put out the fire, leading to a forest fire that puts everyone in jeopardy.

This episode provides examples of:

  • An Aesop: It's important to bring the important necessities so you don't run into trouble. Always be alert of what to do.
  • Camping Episode: This episode revolves around the gang going camping which almost ends in disaster with thanks to Chloe and Zoey neglecting their responsibilities.
  • Continuity Nod: Zoey's lack of responsibility was first brought up in "Cry Wolf".
  • For Want Of A Nail: The episode basically happens because the Stiltons bring hair styling equipment instead of their camping supplies.
  • Framing Device: The episode is told in flashback by Shep as he, Angora and Teeny visit a burnt down forest that apparently was the same one visited throughout the episode.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Thanks to the Stiltons not bringing the right equipment and refusing to put out the fire, a huge forest fire breaks out.
