"This Is Your Knife" is the twenty-sixth episode of the first (internet) season of Happy Tree Friends.
Giggles, Cuddles, and Flaky are out camping when Flippy passes by. Cuddles happily offers him a seat, but as he sits down and warms himself up, a spark flies out and triggers his PTSD. Fliqpy begins his homicide by smashing Cuddles's face with a rock, squirting blood on the nearby Giggles. He then cuts open the rabbit's stomach and uses his intestines to strange Giggles. Flaky becomes scared and hides in her sleeping bag, which is unfortunately thrown into the campfire. Fliqpy laughs evilly while he begins roasting some marshmallows over the flame that burns poor Flaky.
"This Is Your Knife" contains the following:
- Ambidextrous Sprite: Flippy's crest on his beret.
- Artistic License – Biology: The inside of Cuddles's body is depicted incorrectly. His intestines are not curled up, and his heart is placed closer to said intestines.
- Camping Episode: The friends are seen camping in this episode.
- Characterisation Click Moment: While Fliqpy does kill characters in his debut episode "Hide and Seek", he's a lot more professional about it in that episode, having an expression of grim determination and killing the Tree Friends in relatively mundane, efficient ways. It wasn't until this episode that he became the Ax-Crazy psycho with Slasher Smiles, Evil Laughs, and more creative killing methods that the fans know and love.
- Cruel and Unusual Death:
- Cuddles has his face smashed open by a rock, then has his stomach cut up and his intestines pulled out.
- Flaky is left to burn in her sleeping bag which got thrown into the campfire.
- Diegetic Soundtrack Usage: The trio are humming the show's theme at the beginning of the episode.
- Evil Laugh: Fliqpy does this as he watches Flaky struggle in the campfire.
- Facial Horror: Cuddles's messed-up face after Fliqpy's attack.
- Grievous Harm with a Body: Fliqpy uses Cuddles's intestines to strangle Giggles.
- Kill It with Fire: Flaky's death.

- Giggles after getting Cuddles's blood splattered on her.
- Flaky before hiding in her sleeping bag.
- Out of the Inferno: Fliqpy leaps through the campfire to attack Cuddles.
- Pun-Based Title: A pun on This Is Your Life. See Shout-Out below.
- Shout-Out: The episode's title is a pun of the name of the reality documentary This Is Your Life.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Flaky, Giggles, and Cuddles die.
- Thousand-Yard Stare: Flippy gets one of these as he stares into the gang's campfire, which triggered his PTSD, right before he flips out.
- Troubled Fetal Position: Flaky hugs her knees in fear while hiding inside her sleeping bag right before Fliqpy kills her by throwing said sleeping back on the campfire.
- Updated Re-release: One of the early episodes to be part of "Classics Remastered" releases, which rerelease early HTF episodes in HD.
