Great, they pissed him off.

It is not more surprising to be born twice than once; everything in nature is resurrection.

With an infected Nick on a rampage, the Grimm gang are under pressure to find and cure him before he can hurt anyone else. But once he's under control, the consequences of his actions may be too much to handle already.

In Austria, Adalind goes through an ordeal to regain her Hexenbiest powers.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Halloween Episode: Renard's phone shows the date as Nov. 1 (the episode's airdate), retroactively applying this trope to Goodnight, Sweet Grimm, which takes place the day before in story time.
  • Honor Before Reason: The Gang's take on Nick wanting to turn himself in for a murder he committed while zombified. He believes that he should face justice for taking a life, while they point out that he was Not Himself at the time and that by telling the truth he'll implicate his friends who've already lied to protect him. None of those arguments change his mind, but Renard showing him CCTV footage showing his victim coming at him with a knife (thus making it self-defence and not murder) does.
  • Irony: As Renard points out, Eric's trying to smuggle Nick out of the country on forged documents now helps by giving them another name to link to zombified!Nick's rampage, thus making it easier to cover up his crimes.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: The gang agree to shield Nick from the truth of what he did while zombified, at least for the time being. Unfortunately, he still finds out that one of the people he fought at the bar is dead, and goes to turn himself in despite the fact that the gang would be in trouble too for lying on his behalf. Only Renard keeps him from going through with it, by showing the surveillance footage that shows the guy had a knife and telling him that by going to prison, he'd be giving his brother, the true guilty party, exactly what he wants.
  • Not Himself: The gang are adamant that Nick was not responsible for his actions while zombified as he wasn't in his right mind. It would be difficult to explain why in court, though, so they agree to lie to the detectives investigating the death.
  • Oh, Crap!: Hank, when he and Monroe confront a zombified Nick and distract him from the family he's trying to kill. Hank throws something at Nick, and Nick just grabs it out of the air. Hank looks scared for a moment, then rolls with it.
Hank: Yeah, that's right! I threw it! Come get me!
  • Papa Wolf: The father of the family Nick endangers. Also qualifies as a Leeroy Jenkins; unable to get his gun out of the safe during the attack, he runs outside once the gang have Nick temporarily trapped in the barn, determined to shoot the crazy person who attacked his family despite his evident lack of training in gun use. Renard makes it clear that the guy's presence isn't helping, and he reluctantly goes back inside.
  • Scenery Censor: When Adalind removes her towel and applies the mixture of Hexenbiest and flowers, the chair in her room prevents most of her from being seen by the viewer.
