Despite being initially skeptical, Katie eventually believes them after Diana herself admits it to her. Katie later discovers that Diana harassed Carol with an offer of the Head Intern position as well, much to her shock. After attempting to honeypot Diana and catch her in the act, Diana reveals that it was all an act, in an attempt secure a "golden parachute" and secure greater equality for women in the workplace. Despite the team initially offering to make up further claims of sexual harassment to secure her a sizable severance package, Diana decides she can't put them all through that, and simply continues on with her career.

Meanwhile, Carol gets promoted to Head Intern after the previous one transfers away, but struggles to earn the respect of her new subordinates, while attempting to retrieve a balloon that floated up to the ceiling.
