"One dark night, Luigi's visited by...Stanley. A single lick, and he turns into...Ghost Luigi! Now he must live his life in spectral form. The most lovable ghost you'll meet. Performing at national talent contests. Making sure you stay on top of your day-to-day activities. But don't get too close, or he'll turn you into one of them. Luigi's Spooky Ghost Spooky Quest, coming soon."
Luigi's Spooky Ghost Spooky Quest was a fake trailer made by Goomzilla for April Fool's day. He was experimenting with green screen effects and felt like sharing them, and apparently figured the man in green himself would make a great star for his experimentation. Despite the obvious signs that this trailer is a fake, Goomzilla was quite pleased with the positive reaction it got, and may consider using green screen for future projects.

Tropes applying to Luigi's Spooky Ghost Spooky Quest:
- Big Bad: Stanley, being responsible for Luigi's ghostly transformation.
- Department of Redundancy Department: Luigi's Spooky Ghost Spooky Quest.
- Evil Sounds Deep: More "spooky" than "evil", but Goomzilla narrates the trailer in a very deep voice, likely done through alterations. It somehow sounds even deeper and more ominous than the voice he uses for Bowser.
- Horrible Judge of Character / Unreliable Narrator: The narration says that Ghost Luigi is "the most lovable ghost you'll meet"...over footage of him scaring people and taking their food, which most people wouldn't consider "lovable".
- Interactive Narrator: Probably not an intentional example, but...Narrator: Now [Luigi] must live his life in spectral form.
Luigi: Okay. - Jerkass Ball: Luigi apparently didn't learn his lesson from Luigi the Prankster and uses his spectral form for more morally questionable purposes, such as stealing a Toad's food, and watching a Goomba take a shower. Likewise, Yoshi not seeming to mind getting turned into a ghost makes you wonder how he's going to abuse his spectral form.
- Karma Houdini: Stanley gets off scot-free for turning Luigi into a ghost.
- Never Trust a Trailer: Especially if that trailer is uploaded on April Fool's day.
- No Ending: Justified, as it's just a trailer made for April Fool's day.
- Real Trailer, Fake Movie
- Series Continuity Error: Invoked. We know this isn't canon to Goomzilla's series because of the intentional errors he made to his continuity. The Mario Bros. apparently moving to a place with a giant green screen (among other things) is somewhat believable, but the Goomba Commander should have thrown in the towel, and the Mushroom Express should have been destroyed.
