  • A Date with Rosie Palms: Jesse reminds Becky she's promised him the "Becky Special."
Don't make me give myself the Becky Special.
  • Altar the Speed : Kimmy and Fernando got engaged yesterday, and are getting married tomorrow.

  • Big Damn Kiss : Of course. Lola kisses Jackson. Subverted when Joey interrupts Becky and Jesse before they can kiss.
  • Big Eater : Kimmy eats most of the wedding cake. Steve could use a pizza (maybe three).
  • Call-Back : To Joey's love of hockey and his Red Wings jersey.
  • Companion Cube: Joey is way too attached to his woodchuck ventriloquist's dummy.
  • Borrowed Catch Phrase : Kimmy, DJ, and Stephanie drunk-dial Michelle's voice mail and quote her own catch phrases.
  • Girl Posse : The trio refers to themselves as the "She-Wolf Pack."
  • Gosh Darn It to Heck! : Max refers to the situation as "bull-baloney."
  • Happily Married : Jesse and Becky have been together 28 years, and are still in love.
  • I Need a Freaking Drink: All the drama between Matt and Steve makes them wanna grab a beer or three.
  • Not in Front of the Kid : Jesse covers Tommy's eyes when Stephanie talks about the "Australian dance recital."

  • Promotion to Parent : Ramona gives Kimmy some advice, and Kimmy notes how Wise Beyond Their Years and grown up Ramona sounds.
Someone in this family has to be (the adult).
  • Rule of Three : On the third attempt to run away, everyone surrounds Kimmy and forces her to make a choice. She decides to stay engaged to Fernando.
  • Runaway Bride : Kimmy gets cold feet and runs back and forth, trying to make up her mind. She did this at the last wedding, too. In the end, she decides not to marry Fernando and stay in the Fuller house.
  • Running Gag : DJ's relationships are like an episode of The Bachelor.
  • Shout-Out : To the Spice Girls, The Lord of the Rings.
  • Shotgun Wedding : Kimmy was very pregnant at her first wedding, and is happy Ramona can attend her second one.
  • Take a Third Option : DJ says she'll go to the wedding alone, so as not to hurt either Matt or Steve. In the end, she decides not to date either of them.
