♫ Me and my buddies can't go wrong. ♫
While on a walk with Doc, Sprocket discovers a Fraggle hole and runs inside. Meanwhile, Gobo, disappointed that no one wants to travel to Greyrock Ridge with him, starts out alone and encounters Sprocket and Wrench. Together, the three journey toward the Ridge. On the last leg of the trip, Gobo gets a funny feeling inside telling him not to proceed. He ignores it and soldiers the others on ahead—straight into a dust storm. Working together, they make it out and contemplate what could have happened. Red and Wembley arrive, the latter having had a feeling that Gobo was in danger. Sprocket returns home to Doc.

This episode contains examples:

  • Buried Alive: This happens to Wrench. Sprocket finds his scent and digs him out.
  • Campfire Character Exploration: While Gobo, Wrench, and Sprocket start to bond at the beginning of their exploration, sitting around a Fire of Comfort after escaping the dust storm cements it.
  • Continuity Nod: Cotterpin is about to tell the story of her adventure with Gobo.
  • Faint in Shock: Wembley, after he and Red meet up with Gobo, Wrench, and Sprocket, has a type 6 when he realizes Sprocket is standing right behind him.
Red: [to Gobo] Well, hey, I guess we didn't have to worry about you being alone.
    Wrench: Hello!
    Wembley: Hello!
    Red: Hi!
Gobo: [chuckles] That's right! I had two able-bodied explorers with me the whole time.
Wembley: Two? Where's the other one?
[Behind him, Sprocket starts to pant. Wembley slowly turns around, sees Sprocket, gulps, and faints.]
  • Fire of Comfort: Gobo, Wrench, and Sprocket are sitting by a campfire after making it out of the dust storm.
  • Gut Feeling: Everyone refers to it as "the voice." This is what was telling Gobo's friends not to go with him to Greyrock Ridge. Wembley tries to explain it, but Gobo doesn't understand until after he gets out of the dust storm.
  • Hand Signals: Sprocket does this with his paws to explain to Gobo and Wrench how he got into the Rock. They still don't understand, though.
  • Licked by the Dog: A literal example. Sprocket licks Wrench's face right after he and Gobo rescue him from the avalanche.
  • Literal Cliffhanger: Sprocket almost falls off one.
  • "No More Holding Back" Speech: While sitting by the campfire, Gobo explains to Wrench about "the voice."
Wrench: You mean, he just knew something, but he didn't know how he knew it.
    Gobo: That's right!
Wrench: Yes! That happens to me a lot.
Gobo: Yeah! And it happens to me, too. I just never realized it before. That's why I didn't want to turn that last corner, and... well, I didn't want to come out here alone in the first place!
  • Plot Allergy: Once he and his friends are out of the dust storm, Gobo remembers how severe Wembley's allergy to rock dust is.
Gobo: If he'd a been here... he might not have made it.
  • Product Placement: Averted. Sprocket saves Wrench from being buried in Kellogg's Honey Smacks, used to simulate pebbles. The name of the cereal is never seen or mentioned.
