All in a Good Cause is the 6th episode in Series 3 of Fireman Sam.
The fire service is raising money for the children's hospital, but it goes missing.
Tropes:
- Mass "Oh, Crap!": When Bella tells Sam that she put all of her old junk in a bonfire, including the suitcase that supposedly has the charity money in it, the fire service all rush out in Jupiter to put out the fire and hopefully salvage the suitcase.
- Out-of-Character Moment: Dilys donates a fruit basket to the fire station, which Sam comments is unlike her. This is never brought up again.
- Shock-and-Switch Ending: When the fire service arrives at Bella's, it seems that the suitcase with the charity money has already burnt up, and Sam and Bella retreat inside in despair. However, soon after, it turns out that Dilys found the right suitcase somewhere else, and the charity money was safe all along.
- Wet Cement Gag: Happens thrice with the cement patch that Trevor lays for Bella. First, Norman tricks Trevor into walking into it, then Rosa the cat is startled by Jupiter's siren and runs across it, and then finally Norman draws his face in it off-camera, and Trevor is none too pleased:Trevor: Aw, now who's done that? NORMAN PRICE!
