The Interquel arc between the first and second season. Although humanity is saved from Goetia's plot, Chaldea critically overlooked something in the process. There are four episodes (and one extra).

Unlike the first and third storyline where it was written entirely under Kinoko Nasu's supervision, each one is entirely written by one of the game's four writers (Yuichiro Higashide, Hikaru Sakurai, Meteo Hoshizora, and Hazuki Minase) with the Fate/Extra CCC crossover as Nasu's contribution to this Story Arc.
