The Beagle Babes, female cousins of the Beagle Boys, kidnap Webby in ransom for a set of crown jewels.

This episode contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Anti-Villain: The Beagle Babes are slightly more sympathetic than their male cousins the Beagle Boys mainly in that they had a soft spot for Webby and were even horrified when she convinced them that she was being influenced into turning to a life of crime.
  • Distaff Counterpart: The Beagle Babes are the Beagle Boys' cousins, and they're also criminals (but not as bad).
  • Distracted by the Sexy: While the others rob a toy store to get things for Webby, Boom-Boom is tasked with distracting the clerk. It works pretty well, until she lets slip what she's actually doing.
  • Dumb Blonde: Boom-Boom, much to her sisters' irritation.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: When the Beagle Babes think their criminal influence has rubbed off on sweet, innocent Webby, they feel terrible.
  • Funny Background Event: When Scrooge talks to the warden on the phone, we see the Beagle Boys and their Ma on security monitors. While the others generally remain still, Burger is shown constantly looking back and forth like he's waiting for something to happen.
  • I Choose to Stay: After the Beagle Babes fell asleep, Webby started to try to sneak out, but she thought no one back home wanted her around and so opted to stay.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: Boom-Boom Beagle has one.
  • Lima Syndrome: The Beagle Babes quickly take a shine to Webby to the point where they decide they'd rather keep her than collect the ransom.
  • Literal-Minded: The Beagle Babes try firing their guns, but they're unloaded. Boom-Boom says she was told to get the guns, not any bullets.
  • Mama Bear: Mrs. Beakley goes on the warpath after Webby is kidnapped.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: The Beagle Babes when it looks like they've had a bad influence on Webby.
  • Not So Above It All: Like Big Time, Babydoll is big on barking orders and coming up with plans, but she still gets a kick out of the games that Webby wants to play.
  • Pet the Dog: The Beagle Babes play games with Webby and later steal a bunch of toys for her.
  • Police Are Useless:
  • Prefer Jail to the Protagonist: Webby is kidnapped and held for ransom by the Beagle Boys' cousins, the Beagle Babes. Webby is rescued by the end of the episode, but she developed a bond with the Beagle Babes and doesn't want them to be arrested. Scrooge agrees to drop the charges, provided they work for him. Not wanting that, they willingly let the police arrest them, but not before kissing Webby goodbye.
  • Punk in the Trunk: The episode features the variant where someone is stuffed in the trunk in order to effect a getaway from the authorities. Specifically, the Nephews, Bubba and Webby stuff the Beagle Babes into their own trunk, and drive away pursued by two stupid rookie cops. Interestingly enough, after suffering the bumpy ride, Boom-Boom Beagle refers to the variant where a dead body is stuffed in the trunk:
Boom-Boom: Remind me never to stuff a stiff in the trunk again! It's too cruel!
  • Surfer Dude: The taller dimwitted police rookie talks like this.
  • Xanatos Speed Chess: With the heist a bust, Babydoll says they're going to get something for all their trouble and grabs Webby for a ransom plot.
