Big Brother Instinct: Or in Zak's case, "Twin Brother Instinct". At seeing Wheezie reduced to tears that she'll never get her real laugh back, Zak declares he'll convince the prankster elf to return her laugh. To this end, he steals the prankster elf's laugh and replaces it with donkey brays to show him how it feels to lose one's laugh.
Heel Realization: At having his real laugh stolen, and soon after humiliated when it's replaced with donkey sounds, the prankster elf quickly realizes that stealing other people's laughter isn't fun on the receiving end.
Stealth Insult: As retaliation for giving Wheezie other sound effects for her laugh for the benefits of his amusement, Zak takes away the prankster elf's real laugh and replaces it with the braying of a donkey. It doesn't take half a brain to figure out what that says about his character.
