Presumed dead by Tsukasa, the trio of friends split, with Taiju and Yuzuriha returning to Tsukasa's side while Senku seeks out the person who lit the fires. Saving her life, she leads him to her village, where Senku gains allies in his fight against Tsukasa.
Tropes in the Kingdom of Science Arc:
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Chrome, the "sorcerer" of the primitive village Senku discovers, challenges him to a fight where if he loses, Senku could get access to his hut. Needless to say, Senku wins this without even really trying.
- Determinator: Senku also doesn't give in to getting unconscious in order to prepare for his revival, counting every last second, all 110 billion of them.
- How We Got Here: Senku's flashback till the moment he revived Taiju is shown here. Basically, Senku speed-ran stone age just in re-discovering basic amenities.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Of the positive variant. Senku saves Kohaku from dying under a massive log using pulleys, after which Kohaku introduces him to their primitive village, which becomes the foundation of the Kingdom of Science.
- The Mole: Senku posts Taiju and Yuzuriha as this to keep an eye on Tsukasa, counting on Tsukasa's affable nature to avoid deep suspicion.
- Whole Episode Flashback: Part of the arc details how Senku woke up from petrification and what he did after that.
