• Bad "Bad Acting": DK has been cast as a bad guy and hams it up for emphasis. Considering King K.Rool is his muse for the character, this is a given.
• Hopeless Auditionees: There is a brief montage of the various characters auditioning for the movie.
• Shout-Out: Klump and Krusha's auditions for the film is a direct recreation of the ending to Casablanca.
• Villain Song: "Be Bad" is where Candy explains Method Acting to DK, who has been casted as the Big Bad in Bluster's movie. It also cuts to King K.Rool reveling in his own evil.
