When Diddy accidentally wishes himself invisible, he eagerly jumps at the idea of playing pranks - leaving the still visible DK to get the blame. Meanwhile, King K.Rool decides to use his Candy Clone robot to steal the Crystal Coconut from Cranky, but a poor choice in words sends the Candy Clone into the White Mountains!

- AI Is A Crap Shoot: The reprogrammed Candy Clone is controlled by voice commands. Unfortuntately, it misinteprtrets K. Rool boasting about taking a nice long stroll... and goes for one itself.
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Quite literally for both Donkey Kong and Diddy. Both their thoughtless wishes indirectly lead to the Crystal Coconut being stolen, but it hits hardest for Diddy, as being invisible eventually proves to be more troublesome than he realized. When Cranky confirms that he can't be wished visible again without the Coconut, he bursts into tears upon realizing what this means.
- Circling Birdies: When K. Rool whacks Klump over the head when they get stuck in the vault, Klump comments he can see pretty stars around his head.
- Invisible Jerkass: Diddy becomes one almost immediately after becoming invisible, deciding to pull all kinds of pranks with nobody able to see him.
- It's a Long Story: Said almost word-for-word by DK when Cranky sees him covered in soot and asks what happened.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Donkey Kong greedily wishes for a whole pile of bananas, making a mess of Cranky's cabin, while Diddy accidentally wishes himself invisible when Cranky comes home. These two thoughtless wishes eventually lead to Candy Clone stealing the Crystal Coconut - Cranky drops his broom after cleaning up the banana peels, the impact of which opens up the case and leaves the Coconut exposed, and DK isn't there to protect it because he's trying to stop Diddy from pulling pranks.
- Love Floats: When Eddie the Mean Old Yeti sees Candy Clone, he at one points floats in the air surrounded by hearts.
- Magic A Is Magic A: Because Diddy made the wish to be invisible on the Crystal Coconut, he can only be wished back the same way. Unfortunately, the Coconut is in the hands of Candy Clone, who's wandered off into the White Mountains.
- The Password Is Always "Swordfish": Averted. The words to open K. Rool's vault is a series of nonsense words that even K. Rool forgets at one point.
- Running Gag: Diddy, being invisible, keeps getting accidentally smacked about and poked in the eye by characters who can't see him.
- Took a Level in Dumbass: Candy Clone is significantly less intelligent than she is here.
- Tranquil Fury: When Klump knocks K. Rool into his vault, instead of getting mad, the King just gloats that he can use his password to get out, then unleash his Unstoppable Rage on Klump. When he realizes he forgot the password however...
- What the Hell, Hero?: Cranky is rightfully pissed with both DK and Diddy for their reckless wishing, as it lead to the Crystal Coconut being stolen.
- Who's on First?: DK thinks Cranky figured out about their thoughless wishes, while Cranky thinks DK can explain why Candy Kong stole the Crystal Coconut. Then Candy comes into the room, accusing DK of stealing her banana cream pie, and the confusion escalates until Diddy pipes up.
