A comic strip written to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Doctor Who, in which the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Bernice Summerfield must Set Right What Once Went Wrong by finding the pieces of the Key to Time, which have been scattered along the Doctor's timeline - one piece for each past incarnation. Notably, it was one of the rare strips in this era to be full colour.
- Alternate Timeline: In which the Doctor became President of Gallifrey, appeasing the Dalek Empire. Absent the Doctor's intervention, the Earth has been invaded by various races.
- Big Bad: The Black Guardian.
- Call-Back: The White Guardian mentions the events of "Enlightenment".
- Five of the periods Seven and his companions visit are specific points in the Doctor's life: shortly before "An Unearthly Child", during "The Mind Robber", during "Day of the Daleks", during "Nightmare of Eden", and during "Black Orchid". The Sixth Doctor's part alone isn't set during a particular point, but it does feature Frobisher.
- The First Doctor is worried about what to do with the Hand of Omega.
- The Dalek sent to kill the First Doctor refers to Emperor Davros, which he was circa "Remembrance of the Daleks".
- Continuity Cavalcade: What would you expect for such a story?
- Flashback: The final page features the First Doctor and Susan as they leave Gallifrey.
- Future Me Scares Me: The Sixth Doctor doesn't approve of his successor's "big picture" view.
- Plot Coupon: The various pieces of the Key to Time.
- Set Right What Once Went Wrong: The basic premise, and discussed by the Sixth and Seventh Doctors, with Six wondering if simply being different makes the timeline wrong.
- You Shall Not Pass!: Invoked by Bernice. She claims to be a fictional hat collector from Dr. Seuss who will only let the Second Doctor pass when he gives her his hat (really a segment of the Key).
