This is the 25th entry in Disney Sing-Along Songs. Flik from A Bug's Life takes us on a musical safari through the new Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park to meet the animals that live there. Similar in structure and presentation to the Mickey's Fun Songs releases, but only issued under the Sing Along Songs branding. Notable in the series for including some educational content about animals at the Animal Kingdom, and for including some preview footage from A Bug's Life.
Featured Songs:
- "Welcome to Harambe"
- "On Safari"
- "I Wan'na Be Like You" (The Jungle Book (1967))
- "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby"
- "Walk the Dinosaur"
- "It's a Bug's World" (to the tune of "It's A Small World")
- "Asia" (to the tune of The Siamese Cat Song)
- "He Lives in You" (The Lion King)
- "Circle of Life" (The Lion King (1994))
This volume provides examples of:
- Artistic License – Biology: During "Asia", the song describes the Komodo dragon as "the largest living reptile in the whole wild world". But it's the saltwater crocodile that's the largest, up to around 20 feet long and weighing a ton (compared to the Komodo dragon's 10-foot-long 300-pound body).
- Bowdlerization: "Walk the Dinosaur" had some of its lyrics changed to make the song child-friendly.
- Group Picture Ending: The main live action scenes end with Dominique taking a picture of the rest of the group and their tour guide.
- Stock Footage: Examples featured are The Lion King (1994), The Jungle Book (1967), Dumbo, Fantasia, Lambert the Sheepish Lion, Goliath II, A Bug's Life, and Timon & Pumbaa.
- The Voiceless: Unlike the previous Sing-Along videos that took place at the park, Mickey and Minnie have no spoken dialogue. Flik only says "Hello" to them, but they don't acknowledge him.
