A meteor has crashed in the crater, and since space ore is some of the tastiest ore known to Trux, the Dinotrux eagerly rush off to find it, only to put those plans on hold when they find the meteor has destroyed the home of a tribe of Hex Wrench Reptools. Meanwhile, D-Structs has also noticed the meteor fall as well and has his own plans in mind for it.
- Cassandra Truth: Ton-Ton tries to tell everyone about the meteor, but nobody believes him as he tends to get excited about minor things. It's not until Skya also tells everyone about the meteor that everyone listens.
- Chekhov's Gun: Ton-Ton looks at the trailer plans upside down and comments that it looks like a ramp. By the end of the episode, he acts on this and flips himself upside down to use the trailer like a ramp to launch the meteor away.
- Indy Escape: D-Structs attempts to destroy the Dinotrux by sabotaging their trailer and rolling the meteor after them so that it meets up with them while they are still in the narrow valley.
- Planet of Steves: The Hex Wrench Reptools are all named Otto.
- Running Gag: The Ottos doing roll calls.Otto: Otto?Otto: Here.Otto: Otto? (beat) Wait, did we lose Otto??Otto: No, I'm here.Otto: Not you, the other Otto!
- Strange Minds Think Alike: Ton-Ton, Skya and Skrap-It all describe the meteor with the same series of falling and crashing sounds. To top it all off, while the previous two have to elaborate a little, D-Structs knows what Skrap-It is talking about immediately.
