Recap / Dinosaurs S 03 E 05 Little Boy Boo

Go To

While Robbie babysits the baby, Baby pretends to choke on a cookie (which Fran had said he's not allowed to eat). After Robbie finds out that he was faking and the Baby asks to hear a story, Robbie decides that since he likes scaring people, Robbie makes it a scary story. He tells the story of one night when Robbie was taking his girlfriend on a walk through the graveyard, and a caveman bit Robbie. Robbie then noticed a mark on his arm, so he goes to see a wise old lady (Ethyl), who tells him that he was bitten by a were-man, and unless he beats himself senselessly with a silver club, he will turn into a caveman on the night of a full moon. But since the stores are out, Robbie has to hit himself with a spoon. It doesn't work, therefore Robbie soon turns into a caveman and runs rampant. When Baby isn't scared, Robbie tells him that the wise old lady actually mentioned that there was another way to break the spell: He must "eat the toes of a bad baby dinosaur who won't go to bed when he's told", and then tells Baby that the whole story is true. The Baby becomes so scared that he jumps up and hangs onto a stalactite. Robbie admits that he was just joking to prove that it's not good to scare people, but the Baby refuses to come down until Robbie offers to let Baby eat a cookie. But since the cookie jar is empty, Baby stays up and cries, so Robbie decides to go get him some cookies and candy at the store. Baby points out that the stores are closed, so Robbie promises to go door-to-door, asking the neighbors to give them some candy, until they have a whole bag full. One neighbor gets angered that they showed up to his house on the 31st of October to ask for candy, and Robbie briefly considers wearing costumes next time. Nah...

The episode ends with the "I'm the Baby (Gotta Love Me)" music video.
