An UnSub deals with his feelings about his divorce by kidnapping couples and forcing them to stab each other.

Tropes in this Episode:

• Big "NO!": Emma when the UnSub has her hostage in front of the FBI.
• Blatant Lies: Maya tells Phillip she is willing to talk if he lets Emma go. Subverted since he falls for it.
• The Dog Was the Mastermind: The UnSub turns out to be a man everyone had presumed to be one of the kidnapped victims.
• Hollywood Psych: The UnSub has something like Münchausen Syndrome or "obsessive-compulsive self-harm", but also something akin to Munchausen's by proxy. He forces other people to hurt each other or themselves.
• Little "No": Emma when she realizes that her co-prisoner is the kidnapper.
