- Brick Joke: Darryl and his bean dip eventually make it to the party.
- Cringe Comedy: Rebecca's incredibly uncomfortable pole dance in the party bus may be the most cringeworthy moment in the entire first season. And it's still hilarious.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: Darryl trying to join up with Rebecca and company is largely due to his desire and inability to make friends.
