Heads of Beef
With Muriel too sick to cook, Eustace and Courage instead go to a burger joint that Courage suspects might hold a dark secret.

The family gets shipwrecked after a cruise gone wrong. Good news, the island they end up on is home to a resort. Bad news, the resort is owned by Katz.
"Heads of Beef" features examples of the following tropes:
- Illness Blanket: At the start of the episode, Muriel is shown lying on the couch with an ice pack, a thermometer, and a blanket to show that she's too sick to cook for Eustace and Courage, kicking off the episode's plot. Later, she's recovered enough to sit up, get rid of the ice pack and thermometer, and get a cup of tea, but she still has the blanket draped over her shoulders.
- Pet the Dog: Despite his normal cruelty, Eustace buys Courage a burger. However, he does so reluctantly and asks for the smallest one they have (which is still a decent-sized burger for a small dog).
- The Secret of Long Pork Pies: Subverted. When Eustace takes Courage to a new fast food restaurant, Courage looks around, and notices many strange things that lead him to assume that the restaurant's owner, a Pig Man named Jean Bon, is making his hamburgers out of human flesh. It turns out that everything Courage saw was just an unfortunate coincidence. Jean Bon's burgers really are made of beef, and he doesn't mean to hurt anyone.
- Surprisingly Happy Ending: It appears that Eustace and Courage fell into a trap setup by Jean Bon and his wife, with Courage just barely managing to escape. Courage cowers at home, thinking that Eustace has been eaten. The ending reveals that it was all just a misunderstanding: The pig couple were nice, just unintentionally creepy, and Eustace is perfectly fine, stuffing his face with the free hamburgers they give him. It's one of the rare episodes where nothing bad happens to Eustace.
"Klub Katz" features examples of the following tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: Courage gets Muriel off Katz's island, but they're now a helicopter and washing machine.
- Gilligan Cut: Parodied.Eustace: [after Muriel announces a lavish cruise vacation] Well, I'm not gettin' out of this chair!
[Hard cut to the cruise ship in motion... but Eustace is on deck still in the armchair.]
