- Disproportionate Retribution: Alessandro practically runs on this: killing a clerk at a big box store for being unable to honor his return due to not having a receipt, killing an intern at a hospital because he thinks it's his fault that his daughter's cancer treatment is going poorly, blinding his former boss in one eye for terminating him, and trying to kill his own sister-in-law and young niece to get revenge on his brother.
- Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: Despite waxing lyrical about the evils of modernization and the system's exploitative treatment of the working class, Alessandro only targeted people who personally wronged him for working in the system, when most of them were just doing their jobs, rather than any of the higher-up.
