Max, Neil, and Nikki's latest attempt to escape Camp Campbell goes awry. Nikki returns to a terrible place. Neil adapts to a better way of life. Max is held prisoner.
Tropes:
- All Girls Want Bad Boys: The Flower Scouts don't see any point in men who aren't tough and rugged. Tabii also becomes infatuated with Neil after he tells them all to go to hell.
- Alpha Bitch: All of the Flower Scouts are bitchy, smug, and hold very conservative views of how men and women should act. They also ran Nikki out of camp for being The Lad-ette.
- Country Matters: Neil drops the c-bomb on the Flower Scouts after he finds out what they did to Nikki.
- Defector from Decadence: Subverted; Nikki insists she ditched the Flower Scouts, but they later casually admit they ran her out because she didn't fit the idea of how girls should behave.
- Everyone Has Standards: Tabii is the only one of the Flower Scouts who has no idea how sex and pregnancy work. The other two are pretty appalled by her belief that "if [boys] pee in you, you get pregnant!" Then after Neil tells them off, we get this exchange.Tabii: (Dreamily) He can pee in me anytime...Sasha: Tabii, seriously, what the fuck?!
- Pikeman, the sadistic patrol leader of the Wood Scouts, get hurt when Max points out his horrific acne. Even Max admits it was unnecessary.
- Expy: Billy Nikssilp is clearly Snake Plisskin.
- Hellhole Prison: The Wood Scouts' camp is run like one, complete with barbed wire and searchlights. Max even lampshades that the weather is inexplicably always stormy over their side of the lake.
- In Touch with His Feminine Side: Neil fits in perfectly with the Flower Scout
- Miss Conception: All Tabii knows about sex, she learned from her older sister. She's under the impression that "when [boys] pee in you, you get pregnant!"
- My Nayme Is: It's Tabii with two I's.
- No Ending: We never learn how Max escaped the Wood Scout's camp.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Nikki was once a Flower Scout, but the other girls kicked her out for being insufficiently feminine.
- Weird Weather: Lampshaded. Max questions why it's only cloudy over the Wood Scouts' part of the lake, while on the Flower Scouts' side, it's a bright and sunny day.
