Synopsis:
A college student is found beaten and shot to death in his apartment, while his female roommate is missing. Later another young co-ed is found dead from an overdose.Tropes for the episode:
- Ransacked Room: The student's apartment gets trashed by his assailants.
- Series Continuity Error: Near the end of the episode, Mac mentions hiring Danny "5 years ago," but in both "Outside Man" and "A Man a Mile" they had discussed the fact that Danny is nearing his 3-year mark and thus will soon be up for promotion to CSI Level 2.
