The Belcher kids, the Pesto twins and Darryl become trapped in a makeshift fort and are left at the mercy of psychotic classmate Millie who is obsessed with Louise.


  • Adult Fear: Six kids trapped in a cardboard fort in danger of being crushed to death. Made worse when a classmate discovers this and lies about it to the parents of three of them.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Andy loses one of his shoes escaping the fort though rather than go back to retrieve it, Ollie throws one of his back inside. This proves to be helpful when the Belcher kids pretend to be ghosts and trick Millie into believing she killed them.
  • Cool and Unusual Punishment: How Louise handles Darryl betraying the group: having Andy and Ollie belch in his face.
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • Gene spraypainted the dragon eyes in a very confined space in the fort, causing him to pass out.

    • Darryl acts as The Mole for Millie, allowing her to stop their escape attempt. The thing is: not onlt can't Millie take him out of the fort, he stopped their chance of doing so.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: After the Belcher kids trick Millie into giving them her candy, they're seen sharing it with the Pesto twins and Darryl in the credits.
  • Epic Fail: Bob, Linda, Teddy and Mort's attempt to make a dragon costume for Tina, Gene and Louise due to repeated miscommunication over the body parts.
  • Failed Attempt at Drama: When Andy is apparently trapped in a room with spiders, he says "I'll be with you every time you look in a mirror!" Olly doesn't get it at first, causing Andy to explain it and saying his last words are ruined.
  • Halloween Episode: The second in the series.
  • Jump Scare: The Kuchi Kopi nightlight appearing for a couple of frames in the opening theme. It can catch you off guard.

  • Just in Time: The trapped children manage to get out just before the ramp crushes their fort.
  • Lame Comeback: When a homeowner makes fun of the dragon costume, Linda calls his doormat stupid.
  • The Millstone: Darryl betrays the group when Millie promises him candy and being able to use the bathroom in exchange for keeping the Belchers and the Pestos trapped inside.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Louise to Millie when she puts her obsession of becoming Louise's friend over helping her, her siblings and her friends from a life or death situation.
  • Shout-Out: The entire episode is this to director Wes Anderson and pays homage to his usage of camera angles, mostly of the kids' fort. Additionally, Darryl is dressed as Mark Mothersbaugh who has composed music for Anderson's films.
  • Skewed Priorities: After thinking she's killed the Belcher kids, Millie is more concerned over whether she'll like her therapist.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Darryl, who honestly thought it was a better idea to squeal to Millie and that she would let him out to use the bathroom.
  • You Fool!: Louise to Darryl when she finds out about his double cross to Millie.
  • You Monster!: Tina when Millie starts eating candy in front of the boxed in fort.
