The Belchers spend the afternoon on a wine train, but the kids are confined to the caboose with Regular-Sized Rudy. While Bob and Linda drink with a snobbish wine enthusiast, the kids decide to pull a heist of the train's chocolate.


  • Big "NO!": Rudy, when Ethan rips open the beanbag.
  • Blatant Lies: When Ethan notices something off about the kids.
    Ethan: Why are your shoes muddy?
    Louise: Because, because I am poor. Oh I'm so poor.
    Ethan: And why are you in your underwear?
    Gene: Because I am rich!
    • Also, Rudy's dad's date assuring him, after learning of Rudy's existence, that she's perfectly okay with kids.
  • Companion Cube: Rudy is more than a little attached to the beanbag in the Juice Caboose.

  • Dull Surprise: Rudy, when the chocolatier discovers the burglary.
    "I am very shocked by that."
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Louise is stunned that Rudy isn't considering double-crossing her for the chocolate.
  • Go Look at the Distraction: Tina tells Ethan to "look at her face and hands" while she's talking.
  • Heist Episode: Stuck in a train hosting a wine tasting, the kids and Regular-Sized Rudy plan to steal chocolate from the kitchen.
  • I Drank WHAT?!: Bob wins the wine tasting contest with Rick by identifying the last glass as coming from one of the spit buckets.
  • Instant Wristwatch: Averted. As the plan requires precise timing, Rudy wears a watch for the duration of the episode.

    Gene: The Belcher kids ride again! For the first time!
    Rudy: And Rudy...is there!
  • Noodle Incident: Rudy mentions one time that the train ran out of rosé "and things got weird."

  • Shared Family Quirks: Louise talks to the chocolate bars and makes them respond in a similar manner to how Bob makes inanimate objects talk.
    "Don't worry, I'm gonna get you outta here! 'Yay!' And then I'm gonna eat you! 'No!' Shh!"

  • Sommelier Speak: Rick the wine snob Bob and Linda meet speaks this way.
  • Spanner in the Works: The plan is nearly derailed by the chocolatier coming to use the bathroom in the juice caboose.
  • Stealth Insult: Rick calls Linda a "sweet, simple person." She catches on to this.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: Linda's birthday is definitely today and not June 3rd, as Tina says.
  • That's What I Would Do: Louise says this when Rudy says he would never double-cross her for the chocolate.

  • Train Job: The kids' scheme of the episode. Bonus points for the chocolate resembling gold bars.
