Slow-Paced Beginning: It took about three full episodes before the first murder occurred, in a genre where it will usually take one or two. - Stepford Smiler: Taylor.
- Translation Convention: Zigzagged. The work was written in Portuguese-Spanish during its release, with little to any translation except fanmade, but few if any of the contestants were intended to be Portuguese or had Spanish of any stripe in their lexicon. During mentions in other continuities (such as Maylis's off-hand mentions in Ferox and supplementary Ferox material), it's assumed that they are all speaking English.
