Something has come up with Darryl - he has been sent to hospital with appendicitis. Whilst Tracey visits him, Darryl reveals his plans to escape prison for a night out with Tracey. Meanwhile, an artist named Martin shows up at the house and hits it off with Sharon after she sees his paintings.

That night, Tracey and Darryl decide to have their night, Tracey having claimed that her son had appendicitis to Sharon to cover up her night out. However, the situation is complicated when Darryl decides that he's going to use the opportunity to Run for the Border. However, Tracey doesn't want him to live as a fugitive and they fight, although Darryl eventually gets around to her line of thinking.

The next morning, the duo returns back to prison. However, their taxi driver is a Drunk Driver who is taken away by the police. Tracey and Darryl's return seem jeopardized but Tracey is able to get Sharon (who had a terrible night of sex with Martin) and Dorien (who had spent the episode on a tryst with her toyboy) to come to help. Unfortunately, Darryl's stitches burst and the police come again. Thankfully, they don't recognize him and he is successfully returned to the hospital.
