The boys learn they still have to attend school, and to their frustration, they're attending Gustavo's "School of Roque" instead of the Palm Woods School, so now they must find a way to be able to attend there instead. Meanwhile, Mrs. Knight takes Katie to commercial auditions after learning the latter can only attend school if she's a participant in the entertainment industry.

- Cool School: The Palm Woods School has math with pizza being served and lessons done at the pool, which is part of why the boys want to attend there instead.
- Gilligan Cut: When Kelly learns the boy didn't know they'd still be attending school, she asks if any of the boys read the ASPA pamphlets she gave them. Some quick flashbacks reveal they most certainly did not (Kendall uses his as a hockey puck, Logan made paper dolls out of his, James swatted a fly with his before throwing it in the trash, and Carlos used his as toilet paper)
- Hoist by His Own Petard: After Gustavo boasts he can send an endless number of teachers for the boys, he leaves his ASPA handbook behind after throwing it at the band. They read it, and discover that if Gustavo wants to keep his school, he has to follow a bunch of rules that he hasn't fulfilled. Inspired, the boys start following those rules and they drive Gustavo insane with their antics to the point he gives up and lets the band attend Palm Woods.
- Not So Above It All: When the boys throw a basketball game in the studio, Kelly joins in the cheering stating if you can't beat them, join them.
- Sudden Downer Ending: Played for Laughs. The boys finally get to attend Palm Wood School, but on their first day to get a bit overenthusiastic that they all land in detention.
- Tempting Fate: "Who can be our teacher? Chris "The Masterpiece" Masters?" Cue the Masterpiece being the next teacher.
- We Named the Monkey "Jack": As part of driving Gustavo insane, the boys adopt a goat to use as their school mascot which they call Gus, short for Gustavo.
