An outcast falls in love with Beavis.
Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: Van Driessen tries to get Glennis and Beavis to confess their feelings for one another, and Beavis says he has a love that he's scared to talk about. With some prompting, he tells everybody: he loves fire!
- Break the Cutie: Glennis falls in love with Beavis. Unfortunately, he doesn't return the affection because he thinks that she means to beat him up (thank Butt-Head), and when it seems like he is about to confess his love, he says it's for fire, leaving her in tears. So she tries to burn down the honor's trailer to get him to notice her, and after she gets arrested, he once again doesn't get the message.
- The Bus Came Back: The Great Cornholio makes a triumphant return since Do the Universe (not counting Old Beavis mentioning him while passing out in "Kidney"), and it's when Glennis falls in love with him.
- Call-Back: In the tattoo reality show riff, the boys misread the name "Diana" as "Diharreha", much like what they regularly called Daria back when she was still a character on their show. Daria herself isn't brought up at any point, though.
- Dramatic Irony: For the first time, a girl is actually interested in Beavis, but he's too dumb to pick up on it. By the end of the episode, he's left thinking she was into Butt-Head.
- Horrible Judge of Character: Glennis falls for Beavis on the sole idea that they're both outcasts, not realizing there's plenty of good reasons why she shouldn't associate with him.
- Love at First Sight: Parodied. Glennis falls in love with Beavis the instant she sees him... which is while he's being dragged away during a Cornholio meltdown.
- Never Learned to Read: Ultimately, Beavis's downfall.
- Beavis can't read Glennis's "I ❤️ U" note so he asks Butt-Head to do it for him. Unfortunately, Butt-Head is just as lost as him, interpreting the heart as a butt and the "U" as a foot, and thinks that Glennis wants to kick his ass.
- Beavis can't read the Metallica symbol that Glennis drew, and assumes that the insignia means "medium."
- As Glennis is being taken away by the police, she writes "I ❤️ U" again, this time on the police cruiser window. This time, the boys again interpret the heart as a butt, but think the "U" is a head. Their conclusion? Glennis wanted to score with Butt-Head.
- Oblivious to Love: Beavis - with Butt-Head's help - thinks that Glennis means to kick his ass, and so doesn't return her feelings. And then they think she was in love with Butt-Head the whole time.
- Pet the Dog: Even if Beavis thinks that Glennis hates him, he still genuinely praises her drawing of the Metallica logo.
- Pyromaniac: Beavis outright says that he loves fire and nobody understands his feelings. Glennis takes note and tries to burn down the honor's trailer to get his attention, but he doesn't notice.
- Shipper on Deck: Van Driessen seems to pick up on Glennis' attraction to Beavis and tries to get Beavis to confess his feelings.
- Shy Blue-Haired Girl: Glennis, who has a crush on Beavis because she thinks he's an outcast like her, and has blue hair.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: When Beavis bursts into the cafeteria as Cornholio, he is instantly tackled by campus security and the police, compared to the original series, when Beavis suffered less serious repercussions for his Cornholio outbursts during school hours, only being sent to the principal's office.
- With Friends Like These...: Butt-Head takes the cake in this episode, trying to get Beavis in trouble for no other reason than It Amused Me, and getting Beavis to think that Glennis wants to beat him up. It's implied he also turned Beavis into Cornholio at the beginning of the episode, just to get him in trouble.
