Beavis and Butt-Head visit a colonial village reenactment and believe they have traveled back in time.
Tropes
- Ass Shove: Beavis suggests doing this to the "relics" from the gift shop so they could sell them as artifacts. He tells Butt-Head that he saw this happen in MSNBC Lockup: Raw. When the two head back to the high school, one of the artifacts is shown in Beavis' shorts.
- Book Dumb: Beavis thinks there might be dinosaurs in the 19th century. Butt-Head says they haven't been "invented" yet.
- Grew a Spine: Downplayed but present. After Beavis and Butt-Head drive away his girlfriend (along with being disrespectful towards him in general), Van Driessen finally decides to confront the two for their behavior.
- Insane Troll Logic:
- Beavis and Butt-Head believe they can destroy their educational system by cockblocking the "ancestor" of Van Driessen.
- When they realize Van Driessen still exists, Beavis and Butt-Head think it's because they didn't kick his "ancestor" in the nads or break his wiener.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Beavis and Butt-Head fell asleep on the bus while Van Driessen presents his class' field trip. When they wake up, they believe that they're actually in 1832. They also mistake Van Driessen as his ancestor from the time since he is wearing 19th-century attire and acting in a classical manner.
- Moment Killer: By telling Megan that Van Driessen is a ladies' man and has grandchildren, Beavis and Butt-Head purposefully do this to them.
- Ret-Gone: Beavis and Butt-Head attempt to get rid of Van Driessen by cockblocking his "ancestor" (actually Van Driessen himself wearing 19th-century attire) before he could hook up with Megan (one of the actors) so they can prevent their school system from ever existing.
- Time-Traveling Jerkass: Parodied. Beavis and Butt-Head assume they traveled back to 1832; hence, they use this as an opportunity to Ret-Gone Van Driessen so they won't have to attend school ever again.
