Why did it have to be bugs?
The twenty-fourth episode of the Battle for Dream Island series, in which the show is (temporarily) cancelled, and the remaining contestants get attacked by bugs.

Ass Pull: The only reason the cast was alive and suddenly back at the Cake at Stake place is because they faked their deaths. - Book Ends: Flower gets eliminated in this episode, making her the first and last contestant to be eliminated in the season.
- Commercial Break Cliffhanger: As the vote counter starts to count the votes, we cut to a Blocky's Funny Doings International segment, followed by a PSA for the No More Advertisements Foundation and Yellow Face's commercial for Non-Slip Shoes So Ha.
- Darker and Edgier: Leafy burns to death after riding Firey's ferris wheel. When she doesn't come back, the Announcer says that all of the recovery centers have been destroyed. Afterwards, he releases tons of bugs. As the remaining contestants run, Flower gets hit by a meteor, Firey gets eaten by a bug, and after the Announcer reveals he made the bugs, he pops Bubble. It turns into comedy soon afterwards with the David Cloner, and then the revelation that the contestants faked their deaths, but it still is shocking to see all of the remaining cast dead.
- Faking the Dead: Parodied. After Leafy, Firey, Flower and Bubble die, Announcer replaces them with David clones at Cake at Stake. However, the contestants suddenly come back, revealing that they faked their own deaths.
- Ferris Wheel of Doom: Firey's ferris wheel has a lava fall, which is fine for him but not for Leafy.
- Fun with Acronyms: The No More Advertisements Foundation thinks that advertisements are boring, frustrating, disgusting and irritating.
- Hypocritical Humor: The No More Advertisements Foundation claims to hate advertisements, yet they have a subscription magazine advertising various products.
- Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: In The Stinger, Announcer reveals he spent his own money on recovery centers for the contestants... so he could enjoy killing them again.
- The One Where Everyone Dies: Leafy dies after riding Firey's ferris wheel, Flower gets hit by a meteor, Firey gets eaten by a bug, and Bubble gets popped by Announcer, who has to replace them with David clones at Cake at Stake. However, it turns out that the contestants faked their deaths.
- Wham Episode: Leafy dies in a Ferris wheel, and it turns out she can't be recovered. BFDI is also announced to be canceled due to the decrease in viewer votes. Then bugs hatch all over the place, and all remaining contestants run away from them, only to eventually die. With only David left alive, the Announcer tries cloning him to continue the show (which ends up getting uncanceled). And then every single continuity change is reversed like nothing happened.
